The VIP main offices are located at Bellevue Hospital Center in New York, NY, as part of the Bellevue Project for Early Language, Literacy, and Education Success (BELLE Project).

For families/patients:

Parents at Bellevue Hospital Center
Due to ongoing research, VIP is available on a limited basis to families at Bellevue Hospital Center.

If you are already enrolled in VIP or Smart Beginnings at Bellevue, call or text 718-644-5918 to schedule/reschedule/cancel an appointment or for any questions.  VIP sessions take place in room A311.

If you are the parent of a preschooler (between 3 and 5 years) receiving pediatric care at Bellevue, you may be eligible for VIP. Call or text 718-644-5918 for more information.

Parents at Woodhull Medical Center
VIP is open at no cost to parents of all children (between 0 and 3 years) receiving pediatric care at Woodhull.

If you are already enrolled in VIP at Woodhull, call or text ​718-644-6136 to schedule/reschedule/cancel an appointment or for any questions. VIP sessions take place in the pediatric clinic.

​If you are the parent of an infant/toddler (between 0 and 3 years) receiving pediatric care at Woodhull, you are eligible for VIP. Call or text 718-644-6136 for more information.

For students and job seekers:


We have a limited number of student internships available during the fall, spring, and summer semesters.  Preference will be given for individuals who are English/Spanish bilingual.  If you are an undergraduate, graduate, or medical student and are interested in interning / volunteering with VIP, contact:

NOTE: For semester internships, we require a minimum of 8 hours per week for a full semester. For summer internships, we require a minimum of 20 hours per week for 8 weeks.  Hours must be on weekdays between 9 and 5pm.
